Theme Park Projects Can Provide a Thrilling Ride

Claus Frimand, senior vice president of MR ProFun Management Group, agreed that technology is crucial to today’s theme parks, and one of the hardest elements of the projects to manage. “The main difference is really the ride integration.  Many developers look at [a theme park project] as just another hotel, shopping mall or office building.  But, theme parks present another layer of complication, because you need to integrate highly sophisticated equipment into buildings—and often at the same time that utilities are going in.  So, it requires a lot of planning to get this integration done, and done right.”
