Dubai Parks and Resorts is the Middle East’s largest integrated leisure and theme park destination. The development consists of three theme parks and one waterpark. The entire resort is located on an area of over 25 million square feet and features more than one hundred rides and attractions.
During the initial development of the resort, ProFun was asked to report on the current options relating to admission and access control systems. The study discussed the current admissions, food & beverage, and retail systems available in local Middle Eastern markets. ProFun was also asked to research and discuss options for having the final adopted system able to integrate with the surrounding resort hotel properties and allow visitors to make purchases in the parks using their room accounts.
ProFun delivered a comprehensive analysis report relating to the admission, retail and food & beverage systems available at the resort along with a discussion of each system, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses. In addition to scrutinizing the potential POS systems that could be implemented, ProFun also assessed the additional support and back-of-house needs of any system that was adopted.
